Oh, the weather outside is frightful…who are we kidding? It’s Los Angeles and the weather is still delightful. So, while we might not be singing, “let is snow, let is snow, let it snow” there are still plenty of ways to get into the holiday spirit (safely of course). Here are a few ways to spend the holiday season during your visit at The James.
Thanksgiving Al Fresco
November is here and it’s time to trade the pleather/leather/vegan leather pants for something with a little more give. Don your favorite pair of (fancy-ish) leggings and head to Cecconi’s West Hollywood for a Thanksgiving meal to-go. Enjoy traditional delights or opt for the plant-based and gluten-free menu. We like to give options, so we also suggest Craft Los Angeles. Whichever you decide, bring a little Thanksgiving back to The James. You can change immediately back into sweat pants, we won’t tell anyone.
Snow might not be falling in Los Angeles but that doesn’t mean it can’t be transformed into a Winter Wonderland. Rumor has it that the North Pole is coming to Woodland Hills from November 30-December 30 for a drive-through holiday experience. Make sure to continue checking in at SoCal Wonderland for updated attractions and ticket purchasing.
Skirball Hannukkah Celebration
The Festival of Lights has gone virtual this year! Celebrate with the Skirball Cultural Center and join them for a special YouTube premiere. Enjoy a community candle lighting and festive sing-along to get you in the groove. Don’t forget to stop by Skirball beforehand to pick up some latkes or a box of sweets.
