As we wrap up the final month of 2021 and begin to think about all the shiny new beginnings ahead of us in 2022, we wanted to express our gratitude for all that 2021 has brought us. There are quite a few things we are grateful for that we were not able to do last year, so here are just a few.

The beginning of 2021 brought hope and excitement that we’d made it through the tough winter of 2020 together. As spring hit here in Southern California businesses that were able to weather the storm reopened. The music and film industries our city was built on kicked back into full gear and began creating the entertainment and jobs we’d all been missing. We’re grateful for the live music that filled our ears and hearts with happy notes and the delicious food that delighted our taste buds. We’re thankful for the opening of museums, galleries and parks so that we could feast our eyes up the precious works of masters and fill our souls with new adventures in the city.

We are particularly grateful that we were able to continue our second annual CGI+ Firefighter Thanksgiving. Here at the James we were able to deliver a catered Thanksgiving lunch to the 16 brave souls that put their lives on the line every day for our neighborhood at our local Station 27. There are so many men and women first responders on the front lines and we send a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of them!

Just as Dolly Parton said, “Life is sweeter when you’ve got an attitude of gratitude!” and last, but not least, we are so incredibly grateful for the treasured guests who have stayed with us here at the James over the past year. You have truly made this one for the books. We hope to see your beautiful smiling faces in 2022. Call us at 213.460.5751 or email hello@thejameshollywood.com to book your stay today.
